Shellstone Brushed Limestone Triangle Mosaic Tiles

Stark geometry meets ancient marine biology in this single-stone triangular mosaic: precise tesserae cut from Shellstone limestone in a terrestrial palette of muted chalk, ecru and soft ash-blonde, its surface heavily embedded with macro-fossils, calcified shells and organic fragments that actively disrupt the linear grid. A brushed finish leaves a raw, pitted topography that absorbs light and heightens the rugged, earthen character — a surface that asks to be touched. Supplied at 302 x 237 mm, the triangular tessellation works vertically or underfoot. The abraded, brushed face gives exceptional slip resistance and camouflages scuffs, dust and daily wear, so the stone keeps its unrefined character without constant upkeep. It suits high-friction museum concourses, brutalist tech-headquarters lobbies and sweeping biophilic retail feature walls. Producing from selected Shellstone in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the triangles tessellate cleanly and the fossil detail reads evenly across large runs.
