Limestone Fan / Scallop Honed Mosaic Tile

Single-stone and all the calmer for it, this fan mosaic forms its sweeping Art Deco scallops entirely from Shellstone limestone — a fossil-rich canvas of creamy ivory, soft biscuit and warm sandy beige, its naturally speckled surface grounding the graceful arcs with earthy authenticity. Without a contrasting border, the pattern reads as pure rhythm and texture, tone-on-tone rather than graphic. A honed finish keeps the stone velvety and matte, diffusing light for a heritage serenity. With no fixed sheet size, the scallop repeat scales from detail to statement runs. The matte, speckled surface offers reassuring grip, suiting bathroom floors and wet rooms as well as textural splashbacks and feature walls in drawing rooms and grand entrance halls. Producing from selected Shellstone in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the arcs align cleanly across large runs, holding the sweep true where any drift would show.
