Precision-cut rhombi assemble into a run of three-dimensional cubes here, an optical trick built entirely from tone: crystalline ice-white faces catch the light while biscuit-cream and fossil-flecked taupe-grey sides fall into shadow. The three natural limestones are chosen for exactly this contrast — pure, quiet fields set against mottled, fossil-rich ones — so the geometry reads as genuine depth rather than printed pattern. A honed finish keeps the surface matte and non-reflective, which is what holds the illusion together: highlights and shadows stay crisp instead of dissolving into glare. That legibility makes the mosaic a deliberate spatial device rather than a backdrop. It works as a commanding floor in a corporate entrance hall or hotel lobby, and equally as a vertical run in members'-club washrooms or a retail threshold where the eye needs somewhere to travel. Honed limestone also masks superficial scuffing and adds grip in busy zones. Produced in our own facilities, the interlocking sheets align predictably across large areas, so the cube grid stays true where any break would be obvious.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
