Where its honed sibling stays matte, this Platinum marble is finished to a high polish, and the subtlety sharpens: a soft, pearlescent foundation layered with dove grey and pale alabaster, crossed by a delicate, crystallised network of fine white veining like frost on a winter morning. Polishing magnifies that geological intricacy, refracting light for a sense of volume and spatial clarity — a highly reflective backdrop for minimalist or classical schemes. Available from 305 mm up to 610 mm tiles, it scales across broad surfaces. Best where it stays largely dry, the polished stone suits vast corporate atriums, five-star hotel vanity runs and washrooms, and gallery-like boutique floors seeking an airy luminosity. Producing from selected Platinum in our own facilities, we sequence and calibrate the tiles so the pale expanses stay matched across large runs, holding a pristine, continuous brilliance a reflective surface demands.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
