Silver Shadow Honed Hexagon Marble Wall & Floor Tiles
Marble / Grey
A large hexagon rather than a mosaic, this Silver Shadow tile brings a sophisticated cadence to a complex, multi-layered marble: storm-grey hues interwoven with delicate, spider-webbing calcite veins and subtle misty mottling. A honed finish absorbs ambient light for a tactile, velvety warmth that softens the monochrome coolness, so the surface reads grounding and contemporary rather than cold. At 203 x 176 mm the six-sided format lends a rhythmic, engaging geometry across floors and walls. The dense marble resists heavy commercial use, while the honed face gives higher slip resistance than gloss and disguises superficial wear — suiting corporate atriums, hospitality-boutique feature walls and luxury-retail floors. Producing from selected Silver Shadow in our own facilities, we calibrate each tile so tone and veining flow naturally across large hexagonal installations, drawing the eye and defining spatial transitions across a big space.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
