Calacatta Sugar Honed Marble Hexagon Wall & Floor Tiles
Marble / White
A large hexagon rather than a mosaic, this Calacatta Sugar tile brings warmth to strict geometry: a creamy-white ground laced not with stark fissures but with whispering filaments of pale gold, soft amber and faint ash, weaving understated, regal elegance across each six-sided piece. A honed finish diffuses the stone's luminosity to a velvet-smooth matte, softening the sharp architectural lines and cultivating a grounded, comforting feel. At 203 x 176 mm the hexagon reads as a bold, single-tile geometry. The hexagonal cut distributes load well and, laid up, the frequent joints lift underfoot traction, while the matte face camouflages micro-scuffing — suiting sun-drenched lobby floors, destination-hotel dining rooms, hydrotherapy feature walls and boutique interiors. Producing from selected Calacatta Sugar in our own facilities, we calibrate each tile so tone and gold veining read balanced across large hexagonal installations.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
