Where its honed sibling stays matte, this Calacatta Sugar brick mosaic is finished to a full polish, and the difference is immediate: the creamy-white marble gains a mirror-clear lustre that catches ambient light and lifts the ribbons of amber, gold and warm honey running through the stone. The miniature running-brick bond adds a tight, ordered rhythm, and the reflective surface visually opens a room, making it a natural pick where brightness and a sense of space matter. Polished stone belongs where it stays largely dry, so this format is well judged for feature walls, splashbacks and vertical runs in bathrooms and grand entrance halls rather than heavily wet floors. Available in 100 mm and 305 mm sheets, it scales from fine detail to broader statements. Produced from our own blocks and calibrated per sheet, the brick lines stay true across large orders — important with a glossy face, where any misalignment is thrown into sharp relief by the reflected light.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
