Calacatta Sugar Tumbled Marble Brick Mosaic Tiles
Marble / Multi
Tumbling gives this Calacatta Sugar brick mosaic a weathered, lived-in character the polished and honed versions don't share: each rectangular piece carries softly worn edges and an antiqued matte face, so the creamy-white marble and its threads of gold, amber and ochre feel aged rather than new. The running-brick bond keeps a familiar rhythm underneath, while the tactile, light-diffusing surface settles the whole into something warm and unhurried. That worn texture brings genuine grip, making it well suited to bathroom floors, wet rooms and shower enclosures, as well as splashbacks and feature walls in heritage schemes and rustic or Mediterranean interiors. Offered in 100 mm and 305 mm sheets, it works at close detail and across broader surfaces alike. Produced from our own consistent blocks and calibrated sheet by sheet, the brick courses line up reliably across large deliveries, so the pattern holds together even as the tumbled finish keeps each piece subtly individual.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
