A fluid, three-dimensional wave is carved across the face of this Calacatta Viola tile, so its crisp white ground and dramatic, sweeping burgundy veining gain a sculptural, moving surface. The sculpted profile manipulates light and shadow, turning a static wall into a dynamic, tactile elevation where the striking veining reads all the more vividly. At 305 x 610 mm the tile suits large-scale, statement installations. Best specified for walls, where the wave relief and bold colour make their fullest impact, it lends itself to luxury hotel lobbies, corporate headquarters, premium residential developments and sophisticated commercial reception areas. Producing from selected Calacatta Viola in our own facilities, we calibrate each tile so the wave profile and burgundy veining align cleanly tile to tile across large runs, holding the continuous flow a dimensional, expressive surface depends on.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
