Carrara White Honed Marble Hexagon Wall & Floor Tiles
Marble / White
A large hexagon rather than a mosaic, this Carrara White tile brings a modernist rhythm to a foundational Italian marble: a subdued crystalline canvas of frosted winter-white, interrupted by organic, feathery veins of pale dove grey and charcoal. A honed finish neutralises glare entirely, yielding a smooth, light-absorbing matte that softens the hexagon's rigid boundaries into serene composure. Offered at 203 x 176 mm and 100 mm, the six-sided format works across floors and walls. Hexagonal tessellation distributes compressive load evenly and, laid up, the frequent joints lift underfoot traction, while the honed face masks the micro-scuffing that degrades gloss — suiting sunlit atriums, destination-hotel dining halls, wellness feature walls and luxury culinary spaces. Producing from consistent Carrara in our own facilities, we calibrate each tile so tone and veining flow naturally across large hexagonal installations, keeping the icy aesthetic coherent across a big floor.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
