The rustic edge is the point of difference here: square tesserae of Carrara White, their perimeters deliberately chipped and distressed so the strict grid softens into something organic and hand-worked. Each tile carries the smoky grey veining of premium Carrara across a canvas of soft white and pale silver, and a honed finish keeps the surface velvety and light-absorbing rather than glossy — grounded elegance with a little historical gravitas. Supplied on a 305 mm sheet, it works at both intricate detail and broad coverage. The combination of honed matte and chipped edges is quietly practical: it disguises watermarks, scuffs and minor impacts that would instantly mar a sharp-edged gloss tile, while the dense joints add grip underfoot. It suits wellness and thermal spa floors, wet-bar cladding in members' lounges and statement washrooms. Producing from selected Carrara in-house, we calibrate each sheet so the squares and their rustic edges read consistently across large runs.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
