Carrara White - Platinum Grey Honed Marble Herringbone Mosaic Tiles
Marble / Multi
Here the same Carrara White and Platinum grey pairing is set on the diagonal, angled batons meeting point to point so the two-tone contrast gains direction and pace across the surface. Bright white and cool silver-grey alternate through the herringbone, the honed finish holding both to a smooth matte that lets the natural veining and tonal shift lead rather than any shine. Offered as 100 mm and 290 mm chevron sheets, the pattern brings movement to bathroom walls and floors, shower enclosures, splashbacks and hallway features that want a quietly distinctive geometry. Herringbone is exacting — the angles must stay consistent or the field loses its rhythm — so we produce and calibrate each sheet in our own facilities from selected Carrara and grey marble, holding the geometry true and balancing the two tones across sheets. That control matters when a pattern this directional magnifies any inconsistency across a large installation.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
