
Carrara White - Platinum Grey Tumbled Marble Ellipse Mosaic Tiles

Rounded rather than angular, this ellipse mosaic trades hard geometry for flow: small oval pieces of pristine Carrara White interspersed with cool silver-grey accents, laid into a gentle, tactile surface that ripples softly across a wall or floor. Tumbling gives each oval a weathered character — softened edges and quiet tonal shift — so the composition reads organic and hand-touched rather than machined. Offered in 100 mm and 300 mm sheets, the pattern suits both accent detail and full surfaces. The worn, matte finish and dense network of curved joints bring useful grip underfoot, making it a natural fit for bathroom floors and walls, wet rooms and kitchen splashbacks, as well as feature walls where soft texture and tonal depth are wanted. Cut and tumbled from selected Carrara and grey marble in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the ellipses nest cleanly and the two tones read evenly across large deliveries — important on a flowing pattern where any uneven spacing breaks the rhythm.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
