Carrara White - Platinum Grey Tumbled Marble Hexagon Mosaic Tiles
Marble / Multi
Here the same tumbled Carrara White and Platinum grey pairing works at a finer one-inch scale, delicate hexagons of milky white interspersed with silver-grey accents so the honeycomb rhythm reads tight and intricate rather than bold. Tumbling softens each small tile — worn edges and a frosted matte face — giving the field an organic, historic character that diffuses light gently. The smaller cells pack the surface with joints, which lends strong grip underfoot and suits the closer detail of splashbacks and smaller floors as readily as full walls. It's a natural choice for bathroom floors, wet rooms and shower enclosures, kitchen splashbacks and textural feature walls in heritage schemes. On a 305 mm sheet the one-inch honeycomb lays up densely; producing from selected Carrara and grey marble in our own facilities, we tumble and calibrate each sheet so the small hexagons and grey accents stay even across large runs — consistency that matters most when the cells are this fine.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
