Carrara White Tumbled Marble Herringbone Mosaic Tiles

Laid in a herringbone, this pure Carrara mosaic sets individually cut batons on the diagonal so a creamy-white, softly grey-veined marble gains a dynamic, directional rhythm across a wall or floor. Tumbling softens each piece — rounded edges, an aged tactile face — revealing the stone's natural depth and lending the pattern a warmth that reads as readily in a rustic kitchen as a contemporary bathroom. Offered in 100 mm and 290 mm chevron sheets, it brings movement to bathroom floors, shower enclosures, splashbacks and feature walls. The matte, slightly abraded surface offers reassuring grip in wet areas. Producing from consistent Carrara blocks in our own facilities, we tumble and calibrate each sheet so the batons meet cleanly and the angles stay true across large deliveries — herringbone being exacting enough that any broken angle interrupts the whole field's rhythm.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
