Carrara White Tumbled Marble Hexagon Mosaic Tile
Marble / Multi
This tumbled Carrara honeycomb keeps its cells at a fine one-inch scale, milky-white marble with delicate cloudy grey veining worked into small hexagons whose worn edges and matte, frosted faces give the field an organic, historic character. The tight geometry sets up a captivating repeating rhythm while diffusing light gently across the surface. Offered in 100 mm and 305 mm sheets, the close honeycomb suits both splashback detail and full floors. The dense joints and slightly abraded finish bring strong grip underfoot, making it a dependable pick for bathroom floors and wet rooms, kitchen splashbacks and textural feature walls in heritage boot rooms or entrance halls. Producing from consistent Carrara in our own facilities, we tumble and calibrate each sheet so the small hexagons hold their spacing and the ageing reads evenly across large orders — consistency that matters most when the cells are this fine.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
