Diana Royal - Selene Honed Marble Octagon Wall & Floor Tiles
Marble / Beige
Warmth against shadow defines this octagon tile: large-format Diana Royal clasts — sweeping diagonal striations drifting through fawn, mushroom and toasted almond — interrupted by rigid square cabochons of brooding, midnight-charcoal Selene. The kinetic beige veining is anchored by the dark inserts for a calibrated, earthy contrast. A honed finish gives the whole a velvet-matte skin that subdues glare and cultivates a grounded elegance. Available at 305, 406 and 610 mm, the octagon-and-dot scales across broad floors and walls. Both marbles are dense and hard-wearing; the multi-jointed format lifts traction, and the matte face conceals micro-abrasions — suiting heritage colonnades, country-house reception halls, executive washroom floors and retail display zones. Producing from selected Diana Royal and Selene in our own facilities, we calibrate each tile so the octagons and charcoal cabochons align cleanly and the beige veining reads balanced across large runs.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
