Dolomite brings an icy brilliance to this polished basket-weave mosaic: brilliant white rectangular tiles laced with whisper-soft grey veining, woven over and under and punctuated by contrasting Platinum grey accent dots that pin the pattern and sharpen its geometry. A high-gloss polish catches the light, lending the crystalline white a radiant lustre that visually expands a room while drawing out the stone's purity and depth. Supplied on a 305 mm sheet, the weave lays up quickly into broad, bright expanses. Denser and harder than many marbles, dolomite wears well, and the woven format's dense joints add grip underfoot despite the gloss — suiting reception floors, master-bathroom floors and feature walls. Producing from selected dolomite and grey marble in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the weave and accent dots align cleanly across large runs, where a reflective, high-contrast pattern shows any misplaced tessera at once.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
