Light Emperador Premium Polished Wall & Floor Tiles
Marble / Brown
Warm and richly veined, Light Emperador is marble at its most inviting: a harmonious canvas of soft taupe, warm honey and delicate toasted almond, laced with a fine, spiderweb-like network of crystalline white and cream veining that lends real depth. A polish lifts the stone to a luminous sheen that captures light and deepens the warmth, giving the surface a glamorous, tactile intrigue. Available in formats from 100 mm tiles up to 600 x 600 mm, it scales from detail to broad coverage. Best where it stays largely dry, the polished stone lays an opulent floor across a grand entrance hall, turns a master bathroom into a spa-inspired sanctuary, and makes a sophisticated kitchen splashback or an elegant feature wall in a drawing room or living area. Producing from selected Light Emperador in our own facilities, we sequence and calibrate the tiles so the veining and warm tones flow naturally across large runs, matched so a broad surface reads as one.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
