Long Island Carrara White - Grey Chevron Honed Mosaic Tiles
Marble / White
Chevron is the point here: Carrara White marble and complementary grey tones cut into elongated arrow shapes that meet point to point, delivering a more dynamic movement than a brick or herringbone lay. The alternating white and grey drives a sense of flow across a wall, drawing the eye and lending depth — particularly effective in smaller spaces that benefit from added visual interest. A honed finish gives a refined matte surface that plays down any shine and lets the natural veining and tonal variation of each sheet lead. Supplied mesh-mounted at 286 x 319 mm for straightforward installation, it suits kitchen splashbacks, shower walls, feature walls, fireplace surrounds, cloakrooms and boutique commercial interiors. Producing from selected Carrara and grey marble in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the chevron angles stay true and the two tones alternate cleanly across a run — essential on a directional pattern where a single broken angle interrupts the flow.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
