Nero Marquina Honed Marble Picket Mosaic Tiles

Drama in black: Nero Marquina's deep, carbon-black marble is crossed by brilliant, jagged fissures of white calcite, cut here into elongated picket facets that drive a continuous, arrow-like tessellation across a wall or floor. A honed finish strips away the usual gloss to a velvet matte, subduing the stark monochrome contrast into quiet, imposing authority rather than shine. Supplied on a 305 mm sheet, the pickets read cleanly laid vertically or horizontally. Set upright they make a monumental, height-enhancing cladding for lobby walls and bar frontages; laid flat they give a slip-aware floor for wet zones and thermal suites, the honed surface also masking the micro-scuffs that show on polished black. The sharp graphic character also makes a striking backdrop for retail display. Producing from selected Nero Marquina in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the pickets align across large runs, where any break interrupts the directional flow.
