Nero Marquina Wave Marble Tile (610 mm x 305 mm)
Marble / Black
Nero Marquina meets sculpture in this wave tile: a deep, saturated black ground pierced by striking white veining, carved into a three-dimensional wave profile that turns a classic marble into a tactile, dynamic feature. The sculpted relief plays with ambient light and shadow to create unusual spatial depth, the white veining catching each ridge. At 610 x 305 mm the tile suits large-scale, statement installations. Best specified for walls, where the wave relief and stark contrast make their fullest impact, it lends itself to opulent hotel lobbies, striking corporate headquarters and statement feature walls in premium residential developments. Producing from selected Nero Marquina in our own facilities, we mill and calibrate each tile so the wave profile and white veining align cleanly tile to tile across large runs, holding the continuous flow a dimensional surface depends on.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
