Onyx Honed Marble Brick Mosaic Tiles

Onyx is the star here, and honing lets it speak: a smooth, matte finish tempers glare so the stone's natural translucence and deep colour banding lead, shifting from milky chalcedony and pale celadon green to warm amber, honey and subtle charcoal veining. Laid in a running brick bond, the linear rhythm brings structure to the wild, chaotic beauty of the onyx's internal fissures and crystalline layers. Supplied on a 305 mm sheet, the bricks build a grounded, richly coloured surface. The mosaic format — densely cut bricks on a robust backing — distributes tension and sidesteps the fracturing risk of larger monolithic onyx slabs, while the honed face masks daily wear. It excels on vertical statements: feature walls in spa suites, lift lobbies and gastronomy washrooms, and it takes beautifully to backlighting, which its translucency turns into a glowing installation. Producing from selected onyx in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the banding flows across large runs.
