Travertine turns sculptural in this wave tile: the face is carved into an undulating wave motif, a three-dimensional surface that captures a mesmerising interplay of light and shadow and brings dynamic movement to a wall. The stone's innate warmth carries through a harmonious palette of sandy beige, soft biscuit and delicate ivory, enriched by the authentic, earthy texture of premium travertine. At 305 x 610 mm the large-format tile makes a true statement piece. Best specified for walls, where the carved relief reads at its most dramatic, it suits feature walls in grand living areas, spa-like bathroom sanctuaries and textural kitchen splashbacks. Working from our own travertine, we fill and calibrate each tile so the wave profile aligns cleanly tile to tile across large runs, holding the continuous flow a dimensional surface depends on.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
