A large hexagon rather than a mosaic, this Valencia travertine tile captures sun-drenched warmth in a sophisticated, earthy palette of soft taupe, sandy beige and rich biscuit. The stone's inherent pitting is balanced by a refined honed finish, giving a surface that is smooth and velvety to the touch while keeping its authentic, tactile character. At 203 x 176 mm the six-sided silhouette brings a contemporary geometric rhythm to a traditional material across floors and walls. The honed, slip-aware surface suits a spa-like master bathroom, welcoming hallway flooring, textural living-space feature walls, bespoke kitchen splashbacks and luxurious wet rooms, and the subtle natural variation in each tile ensures a bespoke result. Working from our own travertine, we fill, hone and calibrate each tile so tone and pitting read balanced across large hexagonal installations, letting a broad floor settle into one warm, even surface.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
