Cool-toned and rugged, this Silver Travertine ledger panel unveils a tempestuous palette of silvery greys, muted ash and delicate warm-pewter undertones. The raw, unhoned split-face finish creates an intensely tactile, three-dimensional topography that captures the interplay of light and shadow, injecting architectural rhythm and robust character. At 152 x 610 mm the interlocking panels stack into a sculptural wall. Best suited to vertical statements rather than floors, it clads monumental fireplace surrounds, textural feature walls in contemporary living areas and dramatic dining-room backdrops. The balance of sleek, cool-toned hues and a wonderfully rugged surface commands attention while retaining an understated elegance. Working from our own travertine, we select and calibrate the panels so tone and texture read balanced across a run, holding the rugged rhythm consistent where any mismatch would break it.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
