Cool, single-tone drama: this herringbone is cut entirely from Silver marble, its soft grey tones threaded with bold charcoal veining and crystalline white highlights, the angled batons meeting point to point to send that movement running across a wall or floor. A honed finish keeps the surface smooth and matte, drawing out the subtlety of the tonal range without the reflectivity of polish, for a refined, architectural edge. Offered in 100 mm and 290 mm chevron sheets, the pattern brings pace to bathroom floors and walls, shower enclosures, kitchen splashbacks and feature walls where a cool register is wanted. The matte face offers reassuring grip in wet areas. Producing from selected Silver marble in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the batons meet cleanly and the angles stay true across large runs — herringbone being exacting enough that any broken angle interrupts the whole field's rhythm.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
