Platinum Grey Honed Marble Rustic Edge Square Mosaic Tile
Marble / Grey
All grey, all texture: square tesserae of Platinum grey marble shift through tempestuous ash, storm-cloud grey and striking silver-white calcite, their perimeters deliberately chipped so the precise grid loosens into artisanal, weathered fluidity. A honed finish gives a hushed, light-absorbing matte that lets the tonal landscape lead, while the distressed edges lend an organic authenticity that plays against the geometric arrangement. Supplied on a 305 mm sheet, it works at intricate detail and broad coverage alike. The high-friction matte face and dense joints lift traction underfoot, and the softly distressed edges camouflage the micro-scuffs of busy settings. It suits atmospheric spa and hydrotherapy floors, feature walls and reception desks in boutique hotels, and grounding backdrops in retail concourses. Producing from selected grey marble in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the squares and their rustic edges read consistently across large runs.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
