This tumbled honeycomb keeps its cells fine at one inch, silvery-grey marble threaded with darker, tempestuous veining and softened by the tumbling into an antiqued, tactile matte. The tight geometry sets up a quiet repeating rhythm while the worn edges and diffused light lend the grey an earthy, sophisticated calm. Offered in 100 mm and 305 mm sheets, the close honeycomb suits both splashback detail and full floors. The slightly abraded, matte surface earns strong grip underfoot, making it a dependable pick for bathroom floors and wet rooms, kitchen splashbacks and dramatic feature walls in boot rooms or grand entryways, grounding modern and heritage schemes alike. Producing from selected grey marble in our own facilities, we tumble and calibrate each sheet so the small hexagons hold their spacing and the veining reads evenly across large runs — consistency that matters most when the cells are this fine.
