Shellstone Brushed Limestone - Carrara White Honed Marble Triangle Mosaic Tiles
Marble / Multi
Two stones and two finishes meet in this triangular mosaic: right-angled tesserae alternate honed Carrara White — a muted, silver-veined canvas — with brushed Shellstone limestone in sandy, fossil-marked beige, so cool refinement sits against organic warmth. The interplay of textures is the point, one velvety and smooth, the other rugged and undulating, together cultivating a curated friction across the surface. The triangular grid drives a striking, tessellating rhythm. Supplied at 302 x 237 mm, it works vertically or underfoot. The brushed limestone obscures micro-abrasions while the honed marble plays down glare, and the dense triangular joints lift slip resistance — practical in high-traffic, wet settings. It suits feature walls in culinary flagships, high-friction floors in wellness retreats and transition thresholds in corporate interiors. Producing from selected Carrara and Shellstone in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the triangles tessellate cleanly and the two finishes balance across large runs.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
