Silver Shadow Polished Marble Basket Weave Mosaic Tiles
Marble / Grey
The basket weave gives Silver Shadow a woven order: rectangular tiles of stormy silver and soft dove grey, threaded with organic veining, interlock over and under and are punctuated by dark marble accent dots that pin the pattern and deepen its geometry. A polished finish catches light and reflects a radiant lustre, illuminating the stone's tonal complexity and sophisticated palette. Supplied at 305 x 305 mm, the weave lays up into broad, light-filled expanses. Though polished, the woven format's dense joints add grip underfoot — suiting luxury bathroom floors, wet rooms and feature walls where a cool, refined register is wanted. Producing from selected Silver Shadow in our own facilities, we calibrate each sheet so the weave and accent dots align cleanly across large runs, where a reflective, patterned surface shows any misplaced tessera immediately.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
