Tumbled travertine at its most characterful: a soft palette of creamy biscuit, beige and warm sand carried on rectangular pieces whose natural pitting and softly worn edges read as genuine geological age. Laid in a miniature running brick bond, the format sets up a steady, tactile rhythm while the matte, antiqued surface diffuses light for a calm, heritage warmth. Supplied on 305 mm sheets, the pattern lays up readily across floors and walls. The pitted, gently abraded surface earns real grip underfoot, suiting bathroom floors, wet rooms and showers as well as textural splashbacks and feature walls in boot rooms and country kitchens. Working from our own travertine, we fill, tumble and calibrate each sheet so the brick courses stay even and the ageing reads consistently across large runs — the uniformity that turns a big installation into one considered surface rather than a patchwork.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
