Rich earth against cream defines this octagon tile: large octagons of dense Noche travertine — a saturated palette of warm walnut, roasted chestnut and deep taupe, heavily charactered by natural voids and pitting — punctuated by crisp diamond cabochons of pale, creamy Classic travertine. The dark mocha matrix and bright inserts build a rhythmic, high-contrast tessellation. Tumbling softens each perimeter to a gently distressed matte, cultivating warmth and imposing heritage. Available at 305, 406 and 610 mm, the octagon-and-dot scales across broad floors and walls. The textured, tumbled surface and frequent joints lift slip resistance sharply, suiting heritage lobby floors, members'-club colonnades and tasting rooms, and thermal wet zones in wellness retreats. Working from our own travertine, we fill, tumble and calibrate each tile so the octagons and cream cabochons align cleanly and the tones read balanced across large runs.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
