The Casablanca pattern gives this tumbled travertine its intricacy — cross and square shapes locking together into an interlocking geometry that shifts in scale and rhythm as the eye travels across it. The ground runs through ivory, warm cream and pale beige, interrupted by the stone's characteristic voids and fossil pitting, while tumbling softens every edge to reinforce a sense of age and natural provenance. The pattern's shadow lines and tonal variation respond to daylight, giving the surface a depth that changes through the day. Supplied in 100 mm and 298 mm sheets, it suits entrance halls and courtyards, bathroom floors and wet-room walls where the texture provides grip, pool surrounds and feature walls that call for genuine geological character. Working from our own travertine, we fill, tumble and calibrate each sheet so the interlocking shapes meet cleanly across large deliveries, holding this more complex geometry true where any drift would quickly show.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
