The Jenga layout stacks rectangular travertine batons in perpendicular clusters, a parquet-inspired tessellation that shifts axis cell to cell and draws the eye across the plane. Its drama comes from contrast: the chalky, luminous warmth of pale Light travertine set against the roasted chestnut and mocha depth of Noche, the two tones alternating through the pattern. A honed finish strips away any reflectivity to a velvet matte, subduing the bold geometry and letting the stone's organic surface pitting cultivate a structured warmth. Supplied on a 305 mm sheet, the parquet clusters lay up into a rich, rhythmic surface. The dense joints and matte face bring genuine grip and mask daily wear, suiting thermal suites and hydrotherapy floors as well as feature walls in dining lounges and retail displays. Working from our own travertine, we fill, hone and calibrate each sheet so the perpendicular batons meet cleanly and the two tones balance across large runs.

Read Before You Specify
- Honed, polished, tumbled or brushed — which finish should you specify?Specify honed for interior floors, tumbled or brushed where the surface gets wet, and polished only where there is no slip requirement. All four start from the same slab; the finish changes grip, how visibly it wears, and how often it needs sealing — not the stone itself.
- Marble or travertine — which should you specify?Specify marble where a polished, low-absorption surface matters, and travertine where texture, grip and warmth matter more. Marble absorbs about 0.15% of its weight in water against travertine at roughly 2.6%, but the two overlap in compressive strength — porosity and strength are separate properties.
